The Beach Boys - L.A(Light Album)

This is another album I have already touched on a few times but this version I am uploading here I think would have made an extremely good album and plus my other alternate LA version is blocked in some countries because of the song Sumahama. So I have removed Sumahama(not like many of you would miss it anyway) and made what I think is a pretty good album. Mike still has a song on the album, Brian's Back starts the album followed by Constant Companion which should have definitely been on the actual release. Angel Come Home another really strong song followed by Al Jardine's Looking Down The Coast Trilogy including the original version of Santa Ana Winds, Looking Down The Coast and Monterey, closing side one is California Feeling(MIC Mix). Opening Side Two is Good Timin' followed by Lady Lynda, Full Sail and Love Surrounds Me, a similar line-up to the start of side 1 on the official release. The album then closes beautifully with Baby Blue and Goin' South.

The album cover I have re-done to reflect the new songs on the album. Thanks to edhemingway from the Pet-Sounds forum who made the California Feelin' and Santa Ana Winds artwork.

The Beach Boys - Caribou

Near the middle and end part of 1974 and early 1975 The Beach Boys worked at Caribou Studio and Brother Studio in Santa Monica on a new bunch of recordings. Brian Wilson was apparently very involved with the project. No album ever surfaced but a lot of the recordings appeared on later albums. Songs that were worked on during this period were, Good Timin', My love Lives On, Earthquake Time, Lucy Jones, Ding Dang(Clangin', Rolling Up To Heaven), River Song, Rainbows, Holy Man, You're Riding High On The Music, Just An Imitation, Honeycomb, Why Don't You Try Me, Battle Hym Of The Republic, its OK,  California Feeling, Barnyard Blues,  Dont Let Me Go, Our Life, Our Love, Our Land, and a few more. Good Timin', Its OK, Ding Dang,  California Feeling, My love Lives On, River Song, Holy Man, Barnyard Blues and Rainbows have all since been released. I've tried to use versions from 1974 of the songs if I could find them. This version of the river song is a demo from 1974 featuring Dennis on lead vocals and Carl, Ricky and Al on harmonies. I used the demo of California Feelin' that was released on the Made In California box set.

The Beach Boys - Life

Welcome to my blog, I will be gradually posting my alternate albums here :D

Here is my alternate Adult/Child album that I have re-named Life so it does not get the attention of Brother Records XD, that is kinda true, I know they would be on the look-out.

Anyway for my version I have gone with a similar line-up to the original proposed track listing but I have removed Hey Little Tomboy and Lines(because it's pretty weak) and have added New England Waltz and New England Waltz Reprise which I got the idea from another YouTube video of Adult/Child and I really like the way it works coming in after Deep Purple, I have also Added Michael Row The Boat Ashore because I think it fits the vibe and there is not much Mike on this album so I just wanna let everyone know that he is there, I don't think it ruins it by having covers as well as On Broadway because they are both good efforts and again we need more Mike and Al.

It is a risk posting this because of the amount of Adult/Child stuff has been taken down from YouTube but I hope Brother can allow this. If not I will most likely be creating a blog where everyone can download all my alternate albums :)
